Photographs I've gleaned from flea markets, junk shops and sometimes ebay. The cheaper the better. Anything with a story that can be extracted from hand written notes, location research, local histories, census records......anything. A small band of fellow enthusiasts worldwide have helped me with many of these. Of course there are always mysteries that defy research, but there's even a story inside these. New TV.

Man with television

The Sepia Saturday theme yesterday was the space race. Now, I don't have any space photos but I did find this one recently, which amused me. I don't know who this man is, but I feel he has just purchased this television and is very proud of it.

    I think you’re right; in fact it’s a double celebration, judging by the cards - a birthday or anniversary. He’s also celebrating that suit!
