I found this one today in Lewes. I'm surprised she managed to make them sit still long enough.

This gentleman is surely proof than people come to ressemble their pets.

Ancient High House, Stafford.

The photographer 'Monsieur George' didn't have to go far to photograph this building. It was only a couple of paces away from his studio. Built in 1595, the ground floor of the 'ancient high house' was converted into shops in 1826, as you can see here. These attractive 19th century shop fronts have now been removed to restore the building to its original appearance. See a recent photo here. This makes an interesting case study in the aesthetics of building restoration. How much do we destroy in order to achieve authenticity?

Gun dogs and their handlers, game bags at he ready, preparing for a pheasant or grouse shoot. Judging by the ornate urn behind them they are on the terrace of a stately home somewhere.
